Your Driver

A Driver for Your Stay

By the third day you say the usual place, and it works. That is the whole product.

What changes after day two

On day one you explain where you are staying, that the gate sticks, that one of you gets carsick on the mountain road, and that you would like to eat somewhere without a view of a cruise ship.

By day three none of that needs saying again. Your driver knows the villa, takes the coast road instead, and has already suggested two restaurants because they were asked once.

That accumulation is the product. It is not something a dispatch queue can offer, because the person who arrives has never met you.

How it works

Three, five or seven days, priced as a package rather than as separate fares.

You set the shape of each day roughly — an airport pickup, beach mornings, a couple of dinners, one island day, the flight home. Inside agreed hours you message the same WhatsApp thread and the same person comes.

Quiet days cost less than busy ones and we build that in rather than charging a flat rate for a car sitting still.

A realistic week

Sunday: collected at SXM, a stop for supplies, dropped at the villa. Monday: Mullet Bay in the morning, back for the afternoon. Tuesday: nothing. Wednesday: island day, both sides, lunch in Grand Case. Thursday: dinner in Grand Case, home at eleven. Friday: Marigot market in the morning, Orient Bay after. Saturday: nothing. Sunday: airport, with time to spare.

That is five working days across a week, one driver, one price agreed at the start.

Against the rental car

Honestly, because it depends on the week.

The rental wins if you want to leave at seven in the morning to see somewhere on a whim, if you are here longer than two weeks, or if your villa is somewhere genuinely remote.

This wins if your week involves dinners out — because otherwise one of you is the designated driver every night — if you would rather not learn Marigot's parking, and if the roads on the French side at midnight are not how you want to spend your holiday.

The full costing for a typical week is on renting a car in St. Maarten, and it does not always conclude in our favour.

What is included

Every journey inside the agreed hours, fuel, parking, waiting, child seats, and the airport transfers at both ends. One price at the start, one payment, no meter.

Questions people actually ask

Is the driver on call all day?

Within agreed hours, yes. We set a rough shape at the start — usually something like nine to eleven — and inside that you message the thread and they come. It is not a car parked outside for a week; it is a person whose day is built around yours.

What if we do not need them one day?

Tell us and we will build it into the package rather than charge for a day nobody uses. A five-day stay with two quiet days is a normal booking.

Do we really get the same person?

That is what we plan for and it is why the package exists. If illness or a genuine scheduling problem makes it impossible we tell you in advance and introduce whoever is covering — we do not send a stranger and hope.

How does this compare to a rental car for a week?

Closer than most people expect once you count insurance excess, fuel, parking, and the fact that someone has to stay sober every evening. For a week based around dinners out it usually comes out ahead. For a week of independent exploring, a rental wins.
